Salmeterol is indicated for the treatment of:
- Asthma, together with an inhaled corticosteroid.
- COPD.

Dosage and administration of Salmeterol:
- Adults: 50 mcg inhaled twice daily; for asthma always together with an inhaled steroid.
- Not for sudden attacks.
