Phytomenadione is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Prevention of vitamin K deficiency bleeding in newborns.
  • Reversal of warfarin over-anticoagulation.
  • Bleeding due to vitamin K deficiency, including obstructive jaundice.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি

Dosage and administration of Phytomenadione:

  • Newborns: 1 mg IM at birth.
  • Warfarin reversal and deficiency bleeding: 1-10 mg orally or by slow IV injection depending on INR and bleeding.

  • নবজাতক: জন্মের সময় ১ মিগ্রা পেশিতে।
