Mycophenolate Acid is indicated for the treatment of:
- Prevention of rejection after kidney, heart or liver transplant.
- Lupus nephritis (specialist use).

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Mycophenolate Acid:
- Dose is set by a transplant or specialist physician: for example mycophenolic acid enteric-coated 720 mg twice daily (mycophenolate mofetil 1 g twice daily).
- Take on an empty stomach and swallow whole.

Mycophenolate Acid should not be used in:
- Pregnancy (causes birth defects and miscarriage).
- Hypersensitivity; serious active infection.

Possible side effects of Mycophenolate Acid:
- Diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, low white blood cell and platelet counts, infections.
- Raised cancer risk.

Precautions while using Mycophenolate Acid:
- Effective contraception during treatment and for 6 weeks after (and for male partners per the label).
- Monitor blood counts.
