Folinic Acid is indicated for the treatment of:
- Rescue after high-dose methotrexate treatment.
- Increasing the effect of fluorouracil in some cancers (specialist).
- Megaloblastic anaemia due to folate deficiency.

Dosage and administration of Folinic Acid:
- Methotrexate rescue: as per the protocol (often 15 mg every 6 hours starting 24 hours after methotrexate), under a specialist.
- Megaloblastic anaemia: 15 mg daily as directed.
