Faropenem is indicated for the treatment of:
- Respiratory tract and ear, nose and throat infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Urinary tract infections.

Bactericidal; blocks bacterial cell-wall synthesis and resists many beta-lactamases.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Faropenem:
Adults: 200-300 mg three times daily as per the product label; reduce in kidney impairment.

প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: পণ্যের লেবেল অনুযায়ী দিনে তিনবার ২০০-৩০০ মিগ্রা; কিডনি সমস্যায় কমান।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Faropenem may interact with:
Valproate (levels fall sharply; avoid), probenecid.
Faropenem-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
ভ্যালপ্রয়েট (মাত্রা অনেক কমে যায়; এড়িয়ে চলুন), প্রোবেনেসিড।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Faropenem should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to penems or other beta-lactams.
- Use with valproate.

- Rare: severe allergy, colitis, seizures.
