Ephedrine Hydrochloride is indicated for the treatment of:
- Low blood pressure during anaesthesia (IV).
- Nasal congestion (older use) and mild bronchospasm.

Releases noradrenaline and stimulates adrenergic receptors, raising blood pressure and heart rate.
নরঅ্যাড্রেনালিন নির্গত করে এবং অ্যাড্রেনার্জিক রিসেপ্টর উদ্দীপিত করে, ফলে রক্তচাপ ও হৃদস্পন্দন বাড়ে।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Ephedrine Hydrochloride:
- Hypotension: 3-6 mg IV bolus, repeated every 3-4 minutes as needed (maximum 30 mg), by an anaesthetist.
- Other oral or nasal uses follow the product label.
Ephedrine Hydrochloride-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- নিম্ন রক্তচাপ: অ্যানেস্থেসিওলজিস্ট প্রয়োজনে প্রতি ৩-৪ মিনিটে (সর্বোচ্চ ৩০ মিগ্রা) শিরায় ৩-৬ মিগ্রা বোলাস দেন।
- অন্য মুখে খাওয়া বা নাকের ব্যবহার পণ্যের লেবেল অনুযায়ী।

Ephedrine Hydrochloride may interact with:
MAO inhibitors, other sympathomimetics, beta blockers, halothane, digoxin.
Ephedrine Hydrochloride-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
MAO ইনহিবিটর, অন্য সিমপ্যাথোমিমেটিক, বিটা ব্লকার, হ্যালোথেন, ডিগক্সিন।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Ephedrine Hydrochloride should not be used in:
- Use with MAO inhibitors (within 14 days).
- Severe high blood pressure, phaeochromocytoma, fast heart rhythm disorders, closed-angle glaucoma.
Ephedrine Hydrochloride যাদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়:

Palpitations, high blood pressure, anxiety, tremor, sleeplessness.
