Clopidogrel is indicated for the treatment of:
- Prevention of heart attack and stroke in people with acute coronary syndrome, recent heart attack or stroke.
- Peripheral arterial disease; after stent placement (with aspirin).

Dosage and administration of Clopidogrel:
Adults: 75 mg once daily; a loading dose of 300-600 mg is used at the start of acute coronary syndrome, as directed.

Clopidogrel should not be used in:
- Active bleeding such as peptic ulcer or brain bleeding.
- Severe liver impairment.
- Hypersensitivity.
