Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid is indicated for the treatment of:
- Respiratory tract and ear, nose and throat infections caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria.
- Urinary tract and skin infections.
Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- বিটা-ল্যাকটামেজ উৎপাদনকারী জীবাণুজনিত শ্বাসতন্ত্র এবং কান, নাক ও গলার সংক্রমণ।

Bactericidal; blocks bacterial cell-wall synthesis.
জীবাণুনাশক; ব্যাকটেরিয়ার কোষপ্রাচীর তৈরি বন্ধ করে।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid:
- Adults: 200 mg cefpodoxime with 125 mg clavulanic acid twice daily after food for 5-10 days.
- Reduce in kidney impairment.
Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: খাবারের পর ৫-১০ দিন দিনে দুইবার ২০০ মিগ্রা সেফপোডক্সিম ও ১২৫ মিগ্রা ক্ল্যাভুলানিক অ্যাসিড।
- কিডনি সমস্যায় কমান।

Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid may interact with:
Warfarin (higher bleeding risk); probenecid raises cephalosporin levels; nephrotoxic drugs such as aminoglycosides need kidney monitoring.
Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
ওয়ারফারিন (রক্তপাতের ঝুঁকি বাড়ে); প্রোবেনেসিড সেফালোস্পোরিনের মাত্রা বাড়ায়; অ্যামিনোগ্লাইকোসাইডের মতো কিডনির ক্ষতিকারক ওষুধের সাথে কিডনি পর্যবেক্ষণ দরকার।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
- History of liver problems with clavulanic acid.

Possible side effects of Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid:
- Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash.
- Rare: severe allergic reaction, Clostridioides difficile colitis, blood disorders.
Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid-এর সম্ভাব্য পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া:
- ডায়রিয়া, বমি বমি ভাব, পেটব্যথা, র্যাশ।
- বিরল: গুরুতর অ্যালার্জিক প্রতিক্রিয়া, ক্লস্ট্রিডিওয়ডিস ডিফিসিল কোলাইটিস, রক্তের সমস্যা।
