Bumetanide is indicated for the treatment of:

Oedema due to heart failure, liver cirrhosis and kidney disease.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি

Dosage and administration of Bumetanide:

  • Adults: 1 mg once or twice daily (up to 5 mg daily); IV 0.5-1 mg as directed.
  • 1 mg of bumetanide is roughly equal to 40 mg of furosemide.

Bumetanide-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:

  • প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দিনে একবার বা দুইবার 1 mg (দৈনিক 5 mg পর্যন্ত); নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী IV তে 0.5-1 mg।

Bumetanide should not be used in:

  • Anuria, severe dehydration.
  • Severe low potassium or sodium; hepatic coma; allergy to sulfonamides.
