Aprepitant is indicated for the treatment of:
- Prevention of acute and delayed nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy (with other antiemetics).
- Prevention of post-operative nausea and vomiting.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Aprepitant:
- Chemotherapy: 125 mg one hour before chemotherapy on day 1, then 80 mg on days 2 and 3, with a 5-HT3 antagonist and dexamethasone.
- Post-operative: 40 mg before anaesthesia.

Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Aprepitant may interact with:
CYP3A4 inhibitors and inducers, warfarin, dexamethasone (dose adjusted), hormonal contraceptives.
Aprepitant-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
CYP3A4 প্রতিরোধক ও উদ্দীপক, ওয়ারফারিন, ডেক্সামেথাসোন (মাত্রা সমন্বয় করা হয়), হরমোনাল জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Aprepitant should not be used in:
- Use with pimozide, cisapride or terfenadine.
- Hypersensitivity.

Tiredness, constipation, hiccups, headache, loss of appetite.
