Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Z-Gentamicin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Serious Gram-negative infections: septicaemia, complicated urinary tract infections, pneumonia, intra-abdominal, bone and skin infections.
- Neonatal sepsis; endocarditis (with other antibiotics).
- Bacterial eye infections (eye drops).
Z-Gentamicin নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Z-Gentamicin:
- Adults: 3-5 mg/kg/day IV or IM as a single daily dose (or divided every 8 hours); dose is set by body weight and kidney function with blood level monitoring.
- Eye drops: 1-2 drops up to four times daily.
Z-Gentamicin-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দৈনিক 3-5 mg/kg IV বা IM এ দিনে একবার (অথবা প্রতি ৮ ঘণ্টা অন্তর ভাগ করে); মাত্রা ওজন ও কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা অনুযায়ী ঠিক করা হয় এবং রক্তে মাত্রা পর্যবেক্ষণ করা হয়।
- চোখের ড্রপ: দিনে সর্বোচ্চ চারবার ১-২ ফোঁটা।

Z-Gentamicin should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides.
- Myasthenia gravis.
