Xyloken 10% is indicated for the treatment of:
- Local anaesthesia: infiltration, nerve block, topical use on skin and mucous membranes.
- Ventricular heart rhythm disorders (IV, in hospital).

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Xyloken 10%:
- Dose depends on the procedure and site; use the lowest dose that gives adequate anaesthesia.
- The maximum adult dose is about 4.5 mg/kg (not more than 300 mg) without adrenaline.
- Topical gels, sprays and patches follow the product label.

Xyloken 10% should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to amide local anaesthetics.
- Severe heart block (IV use); do not apply to broken skin over large areas.

Precautions while using Xyloken 10%:
- Keep resuscitation equipment available for injections.
- Reduce dose in the elderly, liver disease and heart failure.
