Indicationsনির্দেশনা

Xtradex (IV/IM) is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Severe allergic reactions; asthma flare-ups.
  • Cerebral oedema.
  • Inflammatory and immune conditions.
  • Eye and ear inflammation (drops).

Dosage and administration of Xtradex (IV/IM):

  • Injection: 0.5-24 mg IV or IM daily as directed.
  • Eye or ear drops: 1-2 drops as per the label.
  • Courses longer than about 3 weeks must be reduced gradually.

Xtradex (IV/IM) may interact with:

NSAIDs (ulcer risk), warfarin, antidiabetic drugs, diuretics (low potassium), rifampicin and phenytoin (reduce its effect), live vaccines.
