Xenofer is indicated for the treatment of:
- Iron deficiency anaemia.
- Prevention of iron deficiency in pregnancy and other at-risk groups.

Dosage and administration of Xenofer:
- Adults: treatment 100-200 mg of elemental iron daily in one to three doses; prevention about 60 mg daily.
- Children: by weight as per the label.

- Repeated blood transfusions.

- Taking with vitamin C improves absorption.
