Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Valsartan is indicated for the treatment of:
- High blood pressure.
- Heart failure.
- After a heart attack with left ventricular dysfunction.
Valsartan নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

Pharmacologyফার্মাকোলজি
Blocks angiotensin II type 1 receptors, relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
অ্যানজিওটেনসিন II টাইপ ১ রিসেপ্টর বন্ধ করে রক্তনালি শিথিল করে ও রক্তচাপ কমায়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Valsartan:
Adults: 80 mg once daily, up to 160-320 mg; heart failure starts at 40 mg twice daily, increased to 160 mg twice daily as tolerated.

প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দিনে একবার ৮০ মিগ্রা, ১৬০-৩২০ মিগ্রা পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো যায়; হার্ট ফেইলিউরে দিনে দুইবার ৪০ মিগ্রা দিয়ে শুরু, সহ্য হলে দিনে দুইবার ১৬০ মিগ্রা পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো হয়।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Valsartan may interact with:
Potassium supplements/potassium-sparing diuretics, ACE inhibitors, NSAIDs (kidney risk), lithium, aliskiren in diabetes.
Valsartan-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
পটাশিয়াম সাপ্লিমেন্ট/পটাশিয়াম-ধারণকারী মূত্রবর্ধক, ACE ইনহিবিটর, NSAID (কিডনির ঝুঁকি), লিথিয়াম, ডায়াবেটিসে অ্যালিস্কিরেন।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Valsartan should not be used in:
- Pregnancy.
- Hypersensitivity.
- Bilateral renal artery stenosis.
- Use with aliskiren in diabetes.

Possible side effects of Valsartan:
- Dizziness, headache, fatigue.
- High potassium, kidney function changes.
- Rare: angioedema.
