Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Urox is indicated for the treatment of:
- Uncomplicated lower urinary tract infection (cystitis).
- Prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Urox:
- Adults: macrocrystals 50-100 mg four times daily with food for 5-7 days; modified-release 100 mg twice daily.
- Prevention: 50-100 mg at night.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: ম্যাক্রোক্রিস্টাল ৫-৭ দিন খাবারের সাথে দিনে চারবার 50-100 mg; মডিফাইড-রিলিজ দিনে দুইবার 100 mg।

Urox should not be used in:
- Significant kidney impairment.
- G6PD deficiency; infants under 3 months; pregnancy at term.
- Previous lung or liver reaction to nitrofurantoin.

- Nausea, vomiting, headache, brown urine.
- Rare: lung reactions, liver damage, nerve damage with long use.
