Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Tryptin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Depression.
- Neuropathic pain and migraine prevention (lower doses).
- Bed-wetting in children (specialist).
Tryptin নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- বিষণ্ণতা।
- স্নায়ুব্যথা ও মাইগ্রেন প্রতিরোধ (কম মাত্রায়)।
- শিশুর বিছানায় প্রস্রাব (বিশেষজ্ঞের তত্ত্বাবধানে)।

Raises serotonin and noradrenaline levels and blocks several receptors.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Tryptin:
- Adults: depression 25-75 mg at night, up to 150 mg; neuropathic pain 10-25 mg at night, increased gradually.
- Lower doses in the elderly.
Tryptin-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: বিষণ্নতায় রাতে ২৫-৭৫ মিগ্রা, ১৫০ মিগ্রা পর্যন্ত; স্নায়ুজনিত ব্যথায় রাতে ১০-২৫ মিগ্রা, ধীরে ধীরে বাড়ানো হয়।
- বয়স্কদের কম মাত্রা।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Tryptin may interact with:
MAO inhibitors, SSRIs, tramadol, alcohol and sedatives, antihypertensives, QT-prolonging drugs.
Tryptin-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
MAO ইনহিবিটর, SSRI, ট্রামাডল, অ্যালকোহল ও ঘুমের ওষুধ, উচ্চ রক্তচাপের ওষুধ, QT দীর্ঘকারী ওষুধ।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Tryptin should not be used in:
- Recent heart attack, heart rhythm disorders, heart block.
- Use with MAO inhibitors (within 14 days); mania; severe liver disease.
Tryptin যাদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়:
- সম্প্রতি হার্ট অ্যাটাক, হৃদস্পন্দনের ছন্দের সমস্যা, হার্ট ব্লক।

Possible side effects of Tryptin:
- Dry mouth, drowsiness, constipation, weight gain, blurred vision, difficulty passing urine.
- QT prolongation; dangerous in overdose.

- মুখ শুকিয়ে যাওয়া, তন্দ্রা, কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য, ওজন বৃদ্ধি, ঝাপসা দৃষ্টি, প্রস্রাব করতে অসুবিধা।

- Watch mood and suicidal thoughts early in treatment.
- Do not stop suddenly; caution in heart disease, glaucoma and prostate enlargement.

- চিকিৎসার শুরুতে মেজাজ ও আত্মহত্যার চিন্তার দিকে নজর রাখুন।
- হঠাৎ বন্ধ করবেন না; হৃদরোগ, গ্লুকোমা ও প্রোস্টেট বড় হওয়ায় সতর্ক থাকুন।
