Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Tenopril is indicated for the treatment of:
- High blood pressure.
- Heart failure; after a heart attack.
- Diabetic kidney disease.

Blocks angiotensin-converting enzyme, relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
অ্যানজিওটেনসিন-কনভার্টিং এনজাইম বন্ধ করে রক্তনালি শিথিল করে ও রক্তচাপ কমায়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Tenopril:
- Adults: 12.5-25 mg two to three times daily, taken an hour before food; maximum 150 mg/day.
- Start low in the elderly and in kidney impairment.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: খাবারের এক ঘণ্টা আগে দিনে দুই থেকে তিনবার ১২.৫-২৫ মিগ্রা; সর্বোচ্চ ১৫০ মিগ্রা/দিন।

Tenopril may interact with:
Potassium supplements and potassium-sparing diuretics, NSAIDs, lithium, allopurinol, ARBs, aliskiren.
Tenopril-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
পটাশিয়াম সাপ্লিমেন্ট ও পটাশিয়াম-ধারণকারী মূত্রবর্ধক, NSAID, লিথিয়াম, অ্যালোপিউরিনল, ARB, অ্যালিস্কিরেন।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Tenopril should not be used in:
- Pregnancy.
- History of angioedema.
- Bilateral renal artery stenosis.
- Use with sacubitril-valsartan or aliskiren in diabetes.

Possible side effects of Tenopril:
- Dry cough, taste disturbance, rash, dizziness, low blood pressure, high potassium.
- Rare: angioedema, low white blood cells.
