Tecavir is indicated for the treatment of:
Chronic hepatitis B virus infection with active viral replication.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Tecavir:
- Adults: 0.5 mg once daily on an empty stomach (2 hours after and 2 hours before a meal); 1 mg daily in lamivudine-resistant disease.
- Reduce in kidney impairment.
Tecavir-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: খালি পেটে (খাবারের ২ ঘণ্টা পরে ও ২ ঘণ্টা আগে) দিনে একবার 0.5 mg; ল্যামিভুডিন-প্রতিরোধী রোগে দৈনিক 1 mg।
- কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে কমান।

- Rare: lactic acidosis; worsening of hepatitis if stopped.
