Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Syntocin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Induction and augmentation of labour.
- Prevention and treatment of postpartum haemorrhage.
- Adjunct in incomplete miscarriage.
Syntocin নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- প্রসব শুরু করা ও ত্বরান্বিত করা।
- প্রসব-পরবর্তী রক্তপাত প্রতিরোধ ও চিকিৎসা।
- অসম্পূর্ণ গর্ভপাতে সহায়ক।

Dosage and administration of Syntocin:
Hospital use only: infusion titrated to uterine response for labour; for postpartum haemorrhage prevention 10 IU IM after delivery.

শুধু হাসপাতালে ব্যবহার: প্রসবের জন্য জরায়ুর সাড়া অনুযায়ী ইনফিউশনে মাত্রা সমন্বয় করা হয়; প্রসবোত্তর রক্তক্ষরণ প্রতিরোধে প্রসবের পর ১০ IU পেশিতে।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Syntocin may interact with:
Prostaglandins (increased effect), vasoconstrictors, anaesthetic gases.
Syntocin-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
প্রোস্টাগ্ল্যান্ডিন (প্রভাব বাড়ে), রক্তনালি সংকোচনকারী ওষুধ, অ্যানেস্থেটিক গ্যাস।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Syntocin should not be used in:
- Cephalopelvic disproportion, fetal distress, placenta praevia, cord prolapse.
- Uterine hypertonicity; hypersensitivity.
Syntocin যাদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়:
- সেফালোপেলভিক ডিসপ্রোপোরশন, ভ্রূণের বিপদ, প্লাসেন্টা প্রিভিয়া, কর্ড প্রোল্যাপ্স।
- জরায়ুর অতিরিক্ত টান; অ্যালার্জি থাকলে।
Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Syntocin:
- Nausea, vomiting, uterine hyperstimulation, low blood pressure, fast heartbeat.
- Water intoxication with prolonged high doses.
Syntocin-এর সম্ভাব্য পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া:
- বমি বমি ভাব, বমি, জরায়ুর অতিরিক্ত উদ্দীপনা, রক্তচাপ কমে যাওয়া, দ্রুত হৃদস্পন্দন।
