Seropine is indicated for the treatment of:
- Schizophrenia.
- Bipolar disorder: manic and depressive episodes.
- Add-on treatment in major depressive disorder.

Dosage and administration of Seropine:
- Specialist-directed: schizophrenia usually 300-450 mg/day in two doses, started at a low dose and increased gradually.
- Bipolar depression: 300 mg at bedtime; mania: 400-800 mg/day.
- Extended-release forms are taken once daily.

- Hypersensitivity.
- Use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
- Not for dementia-related psychosis in the elderly.

- Rare: QT prolongation, neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
