Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Semaglo is indicated for the treatment of:
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus.
- Chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with weight-related conditions (as licensed).
- Reduction of cardiovascular risk in type 2 diabetes (licensed forms).
Semaglo নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Semaglo:
- Weekly injection: start 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then 0.5 mg; may be increased to 1 mg or 2 mg weekly (higher dose steps for weight management).
- Oral form: 3 mg daily for a month, then 7 or 14 mg, taken on an empty stomach with a little water.

Semaglo should not be used in:
- Personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2.
- Hypersensitivity.

- Rare: pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, diabetic eye changes.

- Low blood sugar risk with insulin or sulfonylureas.
- Seek help for severe, persistent abdominal pain.
- Stop before planned procedures with anaesthesia as advised.
