Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Protace is indicated for the treatment of:
- High blood pressure.
- Heart failure.
- Reduction of cardiovascular risk after heart attack or stroke and in high-risk patients.
- Kidney disease, including diabetic kidney disease.

Dosage and administration of Protace:
Adults: start 1.25-2.5 mg once daily; usual 2.5-10 mg daily (maximum 10 mg); increase slowly, with caution in the elderly or volume-depleted patients.

Protace should not be used in:
- Pregnancy.
- History of angioedema.
- Bilateral renal artery stenosis, aortic stenosis.
- Use with sacubitril-valsartan or aliskiren in diabetes.

Possible side effects of Protace:
- Dry cough, dizziness, headache, low blood pressure, high potassium.
- Rare: angioedema.
