Proscar is indicated for the treatment of:
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (5 mg).
- Male pattern hair loss (1 mg).

Dosage and administration of Proscar:
- Adults (men): 5 mg once daily for prostate enlargement; 1 mg once daily for hair loss.
- Results appear after about 3-6 months.
