Precon is indicated for the treatment of:
- High blood pressure.
- Heart failure when ACE inhibitors are not tolerated.
- Stroke risk reduction in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy.
- Kidney protection in type 2 diabetes with kidney disease.

Dosage and administration of Precon:
Adults: 50 mg once daily (start 25 mg if volume-depleted, elderly or with liver impairment); up to 100 mg once daily.

- Bilateral renal artery stenosis.
- Use with aliskiren in diabetes.
