Povidin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Skin and wound antisepsis; skin preparation before surgery.
- Minor cuts, burns and infected skin.
- Gargle or mouthwash for mouth and throat infections.

Dosage and administration of Povidin:
- Topical: apply the 5-10% solution or ointment to the affected area 1-3 times daily.
- Gargle: dilute as per the label; do not swallow.
