Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Polycef is indicated for the treatment of:
- Respiratory tract infections.
- Urinary tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Otitis media; bone and joint infections.
Polycef নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

Bactericidal; blocks bacterial cell-wall synthesis.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Polycef:
- Adults (oral): 250-500 mg every 6 hours or 500 mg to 1 g twice daily; up to 4 g daily in severe infections.
- Injection forms are given under medical supervision.
- Reduce dose in kidney impairment.
Polycef-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক (মুখে): প্রতি ৬ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 250-500 mg অথবা দিনে দুইবার 500 mg-1 g; গুরুতর সংক্রমণে দিনে সর্বোচ্চ 4 g।
- ইনজেকশন চিকিৎসকের তত্ত্বাবধানে দেওয়া হয়।
- কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে মাত্রা কমাতে হবে।

- Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash.
- Rare: severe allergic reaction, Clostridioides difficile colitis, blood disorders.
