Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Pleflacine is indicated for the treatment of:
- Urinary tract infections and prostatitis.
- Respiratory tract, bone and joint infections.
- Typhoid fever.

Dosage and administration of Pleflacine:
Adults: 400 mg twice daily with meals; reduce in liver impairment.

Antacids, calcium, iron and zinc (separate the doses); warfarin; NSAIDs; QT-prolonging drugs; corticosteroids (tendon risk); antidiabetic drugs (blood sugar changes).

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Pleflacine should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to quinolones.
- History of tendon disorder with quinolones.

Possible side effects of Pleflacine:
- Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, rash.
- Tendon pain or rupture, nerve damage (tingling), mood changes, QT prolongation, blood sugar changes.

- Avoid sunlight (marked sensitivity).
- Stop and seek advice if tendon pain, tingling or mood change occurs.
