Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Pizofen is indicated for the treatment of:
- Prevention of migraine.
- Prevention of cluster headache.

Blocks serotonin and histamine receptors involved in migraine.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Pizofen:
- Adults: 0.5 mg at night, increased gradually to 1.5 mg daily in divided doses (maximum 4.5 mg/day, single dose not above 3 mg).
- Children: as per the product label.

Alcohol and sedatives, MAO inhibitors, antihypertensives.

- Narrow-angle glaucoma; urinary retention.

Drowsiness, increased appetite and weight gain, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea.
