Pivalo is indicated for the treatment of:
- High LDL cholesterol and mixed dyslipidaemia.
- Prevention of cardiovascular events in people at risk.

Adults: 1-4 mg once daily, with or without food.

- Active liver disease.

Precautions while using Pivalo:
- Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness or dark urine.
- Check liver enzymes before and during treatment as advised.
- Avoid large amounts of grapefruit juice (atorvastatin).
