Panamox is indicated for the treatment of:
Roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and threadworm infections.

গোলকৃমি, হুকওয়ার্ম, চাবুককৃমি ও সুতাকৃমির সংক্রমণ।
Pharmacologyফার্মাকোলজি
Blocks worm glucose uptake, which starves and kills the worms.
কৃমির গ্লুকোজ গ্রহণ বন্ধ করে, ফলে কৃমি অনাহারে মারা যায়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Panamox:
Adults and children over 2 years: 100 mg twice daily for 3 days, or 500 mg as a single dose; threadworm 100 mg as a single dose, repeated after 2 weeks.
Panamox-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও ২ বছরের বেশি শিশু: ৩ দিন দিনে দুইবার ১০০ মিগ্রা, অথবা একক মাত্রায় ৫০০ মিগ্রা; সুতাকৃমিতে একক মাত্রায় ১০০ মিগ্রা, ২ সপ্তাহ পর আবার।

Panamox may interact with:
Cimetidine raises levels; carbamazepine and phenytoin lower levels.
Panamox-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
সিমেটিডিন মাত্রা বাড়ায়; কার্বামাজেপিন ও ফেনিটয়েন মাত্রা কমায়।

Panamox should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity.
- Children under 2 years.

Side Effectsপার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Possible side effects of Panamox:
- Abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea.
- Rare: dizziness, rash, low white blood cells with high doses.
