Oxiquin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Rheumatoid arthritis.
- Systemic and discoid lupus erythematosus.
- Malaria treatment and prevention.
- Photosensitive skin conditions.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Oxiquin:
- Rheumatoid arthritis and lupus: 200-400 mg daily with food (not more than 5 mg/kg/day of actual body weight).
- Malaria prevention: 400 mg once weekly.
- Malaria treatment: dose as per specialist advice.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Oxiquin should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to 4-aminoquinolines.
- Existing retinopathy.

Possible side effects of Oxiquin:
- Nausea, diarrhoea, rash, headache.
- Rare: retinal toxicity with long use, QT prolongation, low blood sugar, muscle weakness.

Precautions while using Oxiquin:
- Eye screening at baseline and yearly after 5 years of use.
- Caution in heart rhythm problems and kidney or liver impairment.
Oxiquin ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্কতা:
- শুরুতে এবং ৫ বছর ব্যবহারের পর প্রতি বছর চোখ পরীক্ষা করান।
