Indicationsনির্দেশনা

Opthaflox is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Urinary tract infections.
  • Flare-ups of chronic bronchitis.

Blocks bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV.

Dosage and administration of Opthaflox:

Adults: 400 mg once daily; reduce in kidney impairment.

প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: দিনে একবার ৪০০ মিগ্রা; কিডনি সমস্যায় কমান।

Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন

Opthaflox may interact with:

Antacids, calcium, iron and zinc (separate the doses); warfarin; NSAIDs; QT-prolonging drugs; corticosteroids (tendon risk); antidiabetic drugs (blood sugar changes).

Opthaflox-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:

অ্যান্টাসিড, ক্যালসিয়াম, আয়রন ও জিংক (মাত্রার মাঝে ব্যবধান রাখুন); ওয়ারফারিন; NSAID; QT দীর্ঘকারী ওষুধ; কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড (টেন্ডনের ঝুঁকি); ডায়াবেটিসের ওষুধ (রক্তে শর্করার পরিবর্তন)।

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা

Opthaflox should not be used in:

  • Hypersensitivity to quinolones.
  • History of tendon disorder with quinolones.

  • Tendon pain or rupture, nerve damage (tingling), mood changes, QT prolongation, blood sugar changes.
