Odmon F.C Tablet

Odmon F.C is indicated for the treatment of:

• Prevention and long-term treatment of asthma.
• Prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial).

Blocks cysteinyl leukotriene receptors, reducing airway inflammation and narrowing.

Dosage and administration of Odmon F.C:

• Adults and children 15 years and above: 10 mg once daily in the evening.
• Children 6-14 years: 5 mg chewable once daily; 2-5 years: 4 mg once daily.
• Not for relief of an acute asthma attack.

Odmon F.C may interact with:

Phenobarbital and rifampicin may reduce its effect.

Odmon F.C should not be used in:

Hypersensitivity to montelukast.

Possible side effects of Odmon F.C:

• Headache, abdominal pain, cough, flu-like symptoms.
• Rare: mood and behaviour changes, sleep problems, suicidal thoughts (stop and seek advice).

Pregnancy category: B

Use of Odmon F.C in pregnancy and breastfeeding:

Use only if clearly needed.

Precautions while using Odmon F.C:

• Keep a rescue inhaler for acute attacks.
• Watch for mood or behaviour changes.
