Nomotil is indicated for the treatment of:
Short-term relief of acute non-infectious diarrhoea and traveller's diarrhoea.

Dosage and administration of Nomotil:
- Adults: 4 mg initially, then 2 mg after each loose stool (maximum 16 mg/day; 8 mg/day if bought without a prescription).
- Not for children under 12 unless a doctor advises.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Nomotil should not be used in:
- Bloody diarrhoea, dysentery, high fever.
- Acute ulcerative colitis, antibiotic-associated colitis, intestinal obstruction or constipation; children under 2 years.

- Always maintain fluid and salt replacement (oral rehydration).
- Seek advice if diarrhoea lasts more than 48 hours.
