Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Nimodol is indicated for the treatment of:
- Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
- Acute pain and acute gout.
Nimodol নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- অস্টিওআর্থ্রাইটিস ও রিউমাটয়েড আর্থ্রাইটিস।

Blocks cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes and reduces prostaglandin production.
সাইক্লো-অক্সিজেনেজ (COX) এনজাইম বন্ধ করে এবং প্রোস্টাগ্ল্যান্ডিন তৈরি কমায়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Nimodol:
Adults: 200-400 mg two to three times daily with food (maximum 1,200 mg/day); extended-release 400-1,000 mg once daily.

প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: খাবারের সাথে দিনে দুই থেকে তিনবার ২০০-৪০০ মিগ্রা (সর্বোচ্চ ১,২০০ মিগ্রা/দিন); এক্সটেন্ডেড-রিলিজ দিনে একবার ৪০০-১,০০০ মিগ্রা।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Nimodol may interact with:
Anticoagulants, aspirin and other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, ACE inhibitors/ARBs and diuretics, methotrexate, lithium.
Nimodol-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
রক্ত পাতলা করার ওষুধ, অ্যাসপিরিন ও অন্য NSAID, কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড, ACE ইনহিবিটর/ARB ও মূত্রবর্ধক, মেথোট্রেক্সেট, লিথিয়াম।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Nimodol should not be used in:
- Active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding.
- Severe heart, liver or kidney failure.
- Allergy to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- Third trimester of pregnancy.

Possible side effects of Nimodol:
- Stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, ulcers and bleeding.
- Headache, dizziness, fluid retention, raised blood pressure.

Precautions & Warningsসতর্কতা
Precautions while using Nimodol:
- Take with food; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.
- Caution in the elderly, hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease and asthma.
- Long-term high doses raise the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Nimodol ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্কতা:
- খাবারের সাথে নিন; সর্বনিম্ন কার্যকর মাত্রা সর্বনিম্ন সময়ের জন্য ব্যবহার করুন।
