Indicationsনির্দেশনা
MSL is indicated for the treatment of:
- Severe pain, including cancer pain and pain after surgery.
- Acute pulmonary oedema (specialist).

Acts on opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord to relieve pain.
মস্তিষ্ক ও মেরুদণ্ডের ওপিওয়েড রিসেপ্টরে কাজ করে ব্যথা কমায়।
Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of MSL:
- Dose is individualised: oral immediate-release 5-20 mg every 4 hours; extended-release every 12 hours; injection 2.5-10 mg SC, IM or IV.
- Controlled drug; use under medical supervision.
MSL-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- মাত্রা ব্যক্তি অনুযায়ী ঠিক করা হয়: মুখে ইমিডিয়েট-রিলিজ প্রতি ৪ ঘণ্টায় ৫-২০ মিগ্রা; এক্সটেন্ডেড-রিলিজ প্রতি ১২ ঘণ্টায়; ইনজেকশন চামড়ার নিচে, পেশিতে বা শিরায় ২.৫-১০ মিগ্রা।

Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
MSL may interact with:
Alcohol, benzodiazepines and other sedatives, MAO inhibitors, other opioids.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
MSL should not be used in:
- Respiratory depression; acute asthma.
- Paralytic ileus; head injury or raised pressure in the skull.
- Acute alcoholism; use with MAO inhibitors.
