Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Mervan is indicated for the treatment of:
- Pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
- Back pain and dental pain.

Dosage and administration of Mervan:
Adults: 100 mg twice daily after food; use a lower dose in liver impairment and in the elderly.

Mervan should not be used in:
- Active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding.
- Severe heart, liver or kidney failure.
- Allergy to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- Third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions while using Mervan:
- Take with food; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.
- Caution in the elderly, hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease and asthma.
- Long-term high doses raise the risk of heart attack and stroke.
