Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Meclomid is indicated for the treatment of:
- Nausea and vomiting, including after surgery and chemotherapy.
- Delayed stomach emptying (gastroparesis).
- Reflux symptoms (add-on).
Meclomid নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- বমি বমি ভাব ও বমি, অস্ত্রোপচার ও কেমোথেরাপির পরসহ।
- পাকস্থলী খালি হতে দেরি হওয়া।

Blocks dopamine D2 receptors and speeds up stomach emptying.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Meclomid:
- Adults: 10 mg three times daily, 30 minutes before meals (maximum 30 mg/day); not more than 5 days for nausea and vomiting.
- Use lower doses in kidney impairment and in young adults; avoid in children unless a doctor advises.
Meclomid-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: খাবারের ৩০ মিনিট আগে দিনে তিনবার ১০ মিগ্রা (সর্বোচ্চ ৩০ মিগ্রা/দিন); বমি বমি ভাব ও বমির জন্য ৫ দিনের বেশি নয়।
- কিডনি সমস্যায় ও অল্প বয়সী প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের কম মাত্রা ব্যবহার করুন; ডাক্তার না বললে শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে এড়িয়ে চলুন।
Interactionড্রাগ ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন
Meclomid may interact with:
Antipsychotics and other dopamine blockers, levodopa (opposing), alcohol and sedatives, tramadol.
Meclomid-এর সাথে যেসব ওষুধের ইন্টারঅ্যাকশন হতে পারে:
অ্যান্টিসাইকোটিক ও অন্য ডোপামিন ব্লকার, লেভোডোপা (বিপরীত প্রভাব), অ্যালকোহল ও ঘুমের ওষুধ, ট্রামাডল।
Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Meclomid should not be used in:
- GI bleeding, obstruction or perforation.
- Phaeochromocytoma; epilepsy; Parkinson's disease; prolactin-secreting tumour.

Possible side effects of Meclomid:
- Drowsiness, restlessness, diarrhoea.
- Movement disorders (acute dystonia), tardive dyskinesia with long use.
