Lumast is indicated for the treatment of:
Severe COPD with chronic bronchitis and frequent exacerbations (add-on to bronchodilators).

Blocks phosphodiesterase 4, reducing inflammation in the airways.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Lumast:
Adults: 500 mcg once daily; 250 mcg daily for the first 4 weeks may be used to improve tolerance.

Lumast may interact with:
Rifampicin, phenytoin and carbamazepine reduce effect; fluvoxamine and cimetidine raise levels.

- Moderate to severe liver impairment.
- Hypersensitivity.

- Mood changes, depression, suicidal thoughts.
