Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Imipen is indicated for the treatment of:
- Severe infections: hospital-acquired pneumonia, septicaemia.
- Complicated urinary tract, intra-abdominal, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint infections.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Imipen:
- Adults: 500 mg (imipenem) with 500 mg cilastatin IV every 6 hours; up to 4 g daily in severe infections; reduce in kidney impairment.
- Hospital use.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতি ৬ ঘণ্টা অন্তর IV তে 500 mg (ইমিপেনেম) ও 500 mg সিলাস্ট্যাটিন; গুরুতর সংক্রমণে দৈনিক 4 g পর্যন্ত; কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে কমান।

Imipen should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to carbapenems.
- Caution with severe allergy to other beta-lactams.

- Seizures (especially in kidney impairment or brain disorders), colitis.
