Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Hemostop is indicated for the treatment of:
- Heavy menstrual bleeding.
- Bleeding after surgery or injury, including dental extraction in haemophilia.
- Nosebleeds; hereditary angioedema.
- Trauma-related bleeding (IV).

- অস্ত্রোপচার বা আঘাতের পর রক্তপাত, হিমোফিলিয়ায় দাঁত তোলার সময় রক্তপাতসহ।
- নাক দিয়ে রক্ত পড়া; বংশগত অ্যাঞ্জিওএডিমা।
- আঘাতজনিত রক্তপাত (শিরায়)।

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Hemostop:
- Heavy periods: 1 g three times daily for up to 4 days, starting at the onset of bleeding.
- Other uses: 1-1.5 g two to three times daily orally, or 10 mg/kg IV.
- Reduce the dose in kidney impairment.

- অতিরিক্ত মাসিক রক্তক্ষরণ: রক্তক্ষরণ শুরুর সময় থেকে সর্বোচ্চ ৪ দিন দিনে তিনবার 1 g।
- অন্যান্য ব্যবহার: মুখে দিনে দুই থেকে তিনবার 1-1.5 g, অথবা IV তে 10 mg/kg।
- কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে মাত্রা কমাতে হবে।

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Hemostop should not be used in:
- Active blood clots (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, stroke).
- Subarachnoid haemorrhage.
- Severe kidney impairment; acquired colour vision defect.

Possible side effects of Hemostop:
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache.
- Rare: blood clots, visual disturbance, seizures at high doses.
