Glimever is indicated for the treatment of:
Type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not enough.

Dosage and administration of Glimever:
Adults: start 1 mg once daily with breakfast or the first main meal; increase gradually to the usual 1-4 mg; maximum 6 mg (up to 8 mg in some cases) once daily.

Glimever should not be used in:
- Type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis.
- Severe liver or kidney impairment.
- Allergy to sulfonylureas or sulfonamides.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
