Indicationsনির্দেশনা
G-Metronidazole is indicated for the treatment of:
- Amoebiasis and giardiasis.
- Anaerobic bacterial infections (abdominal, pelvic, dental).
- Bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis.
- H. pylori eradication (with other drugs).
G-Metronidazole নিম্নলিখিত ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
- আমাশয় ও জিয়ার্ডিয়াসিস।
- অবাতজীবী জীবাণুজনিত সংক্রমণ (পেট, শ্রোণি, দাঁত)।
- ব্যাকটেরিয়াল ভ্যাজিনোসিস ও ট্রাইকোমোনিয়াসিস।
- H. pylori নির্মূল (অন্য ওষুধের সাথে)।

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of G-Metronidazole:
- Adults: 400 mg three times daily for 5-7 days (amoebiasis 400-800 mg three times daily for 5-10 days); trichomoniasis 2 g as a single dose or 400 mg twice daily for 5-7 days.
- Children: by body weight.
G-Metronidazole-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: ৫-৭ দিন দিনে তিনবার 400 mg (অ্যামিবিয়াসিসে ৫-১০ দিন দিনে তিনবার 400-800 mg); ট্রাইকোমোনিয়াসিসে একবারে 2 g অথবা ৫-৭ দিন দিনে দুইবার 400 mg।
- শিশু: ওজন অনুযায়ী।

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
G-Metronidazole should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to nitroimidazoles.
- First trimester of pregnancy unless essential.

Possible side effects of G-Metronidazole:
- Metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache.
- Rare: nerve damage with long use, seizures, dark urine.

Precautions & Warningsসতর্কতা
Precautions while using G-Metronidazole:
- Do not drink alcohol during treatment and for 48 hours after.
- Caution in liver impairment.
G-Metronidazole ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্কতা:
- চিকিৎসাকালে এবং শেষ হওয়ার ৪৮ ঘণ্টা পর পর্যন্ত অ্যালকোহল পান করবেন না।
- লিভারের কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন।
