Indicationsনির্দেশনা
G Glucose is indicated for the treatment of:
- Severe low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia).
- Source of fluid and calories when oral intake is not possible.
- Adjunct with insulin in high blood potassium.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of G Glucose:
- Hypoglycaemia: 25-50 ml of 50% (or 100-200 ml of 20-25%) IV slowly; children 2-5 ml/kg of 10%.
- Maintenance: 5% IV at a rate set by fluid needs.
- Hospital use.

- High blood sugar not due to treatment; diabetic coma with high blood sugar.
- Fluid overload, severe low sodium, severe dehydration without electrolytes.

High blood sugar, fluid overload, low potassium, low phosphate, phlebitis at the infusion site.
