Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Fluxac is indicated for the treatment of:
- Skin and soft tissue infections such as boils, cellulitis and infected wounds.
- Bone and joint infections.
- Other infections caused by penicillinase-producing staphylococci.

Dosage and administration of Fluxac:
- Adults: 250-500 mg every 6 hours, taken on an empty stomach (1 hour before food); severe infections need higher or injectable doses.
- Children: by body weight.

- Rare: cholestatic jaundice (may appear after treatment ends), severe allergy.

- Liver injury risk is higher in the elderly and with longer courses.
- Reduce dose in kidney impairment.
