Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Flontin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Urinary tract infections.
- Typhoid fever and bacterial diarrhoea.
- Respiratory, skin and bone infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
- Gonorrhoea; prostatitis.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Flontin:
- Adults: 250-750 mg every 12 hours; 500 mg twice daily is common. Duration depends on the infection.
- Reduce dose in kidney impairment.
Flontin-এর মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি:
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতি ১২ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 250-750 mg; দিনে দুইবার 500 mg সাধারণ। চিকিৎসার সময়কাল সংক্রমণের ধরনের ওপর নির্ভর করে।
- কিডনির কার্যক্ষমতা কম থাকলে মাত্রা কমাতে হবে।

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Flontin should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to quinolones.
- History of tendon disorder with quinolones.
- Use with tizanidine.

Possible side effects of Flontin:
- Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, rash.
- Tendon pain or rupture, nerve damage (tingling), mood changes, QT prolongation, blood sugar changes.

Precautions & Warningsসতর্কতা
Precautions while using Flontin:
- Stop and seek advice if tendon pain, tingling or mood change occurs.
- Avoid in children and adolescents unless no alternative.
- Caution with heart rhythm problems, myasthenia gravis and epilepsy.
- Avoid excess sunlight.
Flontin ব্যবহারের সময় সতর্কতা:
- টেন্ডনে ব্যথা, ঝিনঝিন বা মেজাজের পরিবর্তন হলে ওষুধ বন্ধ করে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন।
- বিকল্প না থাকলে শিশু ও কিশোরদের ক্ষেত্রে এড়িয়ে চলুন।
- হৃদস্পন্দনের সমস্যা, মায়াস্থেনিয়া গ্রাভিস ও মৃগী রোগে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন।
