Fidopa is indicated for the treatment of:
High blood pressure, including hypertension in pregnancy.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Fidopa:
- Adults: start 250 mg two to three times daily, increase every 2 days as needed; usual 500 mg-2 g daily in divided doses (maximum 3 g).
- Lower doses in the elderly and in kidney impairment.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Fidopa should not be used in:
- Active liver disease; depression.
- Phaeochromocytoma; use with MAO inhibitors; history of haemolytic anaemia.

Possible side effects of Fidopa:
- Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, tiredness, depression.
- Rare: liver injury, haemolytic anaemia.
