Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Erom is indicated for the treatment of:
- Respiratory tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Whooping cough and diphtheria.
- Chlamydial infections and other infections in penicillin-allergic patients.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Erom:
- Adults: 250-500 mg every 6 hours, or 500 mg every 12 hours for some formulations, preferably before food.
- Children: by body weight.

- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতি ৬ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 250-500 mg, অথবা কিছু ফর্মুলেশনে প্রতি ১২ ঘণ্টা অন্তর 500 mg, বিশেষত খাবারের আগে।

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Erom should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to macrolides.
- Use with terfenadine, pimozide, ergot derivatives or simvastatin.

Possible side effects of Erom:
- Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea.
- Rare: QT prolongation, hepatitis, hearing disturbance at high doses.

- Caution with heart rhythm problems or QT-prolonging drugs.
- Caution in liver impairment.
