Indicationsনির্দেশনা
Erocin is indicated for the treatment of:
- Respiratory tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Whooping cough and diphtheria.
- Chlamydial infections and other infections in penicillin-allergic patients.

Dosage & Administrationমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Dosage and administration of Erocin:
- Adults: 250-500 mg every 6 hours, or 500 mg every 12 hours for some formulations, preferably before food.
- Children: by body weight.

Contraindicationsপ্রতিনির্দেশনা
Erocin should not be used in:
- Hypersensitivity to macrolides.
- Use with terfenadine, pimozide, ergot derivatives or simvastatin.

Possible side effects of Erocin:
- Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea.
- Rare: QT prolongation, hepatitis, hearing disturbance at high doses.

- Caution with heart rhythm problems or QT-prolonging drugs.
- Caution in liver impairment.
